This place is alright, but it's not very vegan-friendly. There are usually only one or two vegetable or tofu options on the menu. It's good compared to the rest of the vegan options available in this area.

The signs for "Top 100 Chinese restaurants in America" should probably include the fine print of "...as voted by white people." Quiet location in a strip plaza with a full bar, family-friendly booth/table layout, and clean bathrooms.I was in the mood for mapotofu, double cooked pork, and duck. Instead, our friendly Malaysian server with great English insisted we wouldn't want to try any of those, but that the General Tso's chicken was "their signature dish" and perhaps the Hunan pork would be a suitable alternate protein dish. I stared at him in disbelief before caving, thinking it would be better to be underwhelmed than have food poisoning on the way back.Complimentary fried wonton noodles served with sweet and sour sauce. I somewhat regretted going for the roast Hunan pork, since the cuts were a bit dry. Vegetables used were fresh, where applicable. Chicken was garnished with steamed broccoli. Pork included snow peas, sliced carrot, baby corn, halved broccoli florets, chopped green bell pepper, button mushrooms, chopped onion, and garlic. Other than that, most things tasted of the generic brown sauce on both dishes.Fresh rice, good pot of hot tea readily refilled upon request. Enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Would be reluctant to go back if they can't be confident in their more legit menu items.
